Are sessions covered under insurance?
Yes! Sessions with Julie Gosen can be covered as long as your insurance company lists a psychotherapist in your plan. Sessions do need to be paid upfront, but imediately after payment you receive an email copy of your receipt to submit.
Do you offer longer sessions?
I do offer 80-minute sessions if that is preferred by the client for individual counselling. I also offer longer sessions for couples counselling and art as therapy sessions in particular.
How often should I book appointments?
The most common timeline for booking is biweekly, however, I try to have a conversation with each client about goals, time, finances etc. to determine the best fit for you in your therapeutic journey.
What type of therapy do you do?
I pull from a number of different therapeutic modalities (ACT, DBT, CBT, IFS, EFT, Gottman, Somatic) to make a custom treatment plan for each of my clients. Don't hesitate to ask what this could look like for you, I'm more than happy to give clients a run down on what this could look like.
Do you offer free consultations?
Absolutely! I offer free 15-minute consultations to any new client. These can be booked through the booking portal below. I offer in-person, video, and phone consultations to get to know one another.
